You know you are way too much of a Battlestar Galactica junkie when...

You stub your toe and you reflexively say "Frack!"

And...

It actually sounds like you're swearing!

p.s. I hate the frackin' cold!

LOL.

Yep, and when you're driving through Pennsylvania and you spot a sign for a town called "Frackville," you are compelled to pull over to the side of the interstate and take a photo.

Guilty!

Only, what, weeks until we see the final episodes?

Hey Mentok, do you remember A.B. Chairiet? Where the hell did she go? She used to be here all the time...

Nat - likewise, in Newfoundland, one of the big tourist attractions is the highway sign directing people to the town of Dildo

PWS - sorry, I don't know what's up with Ash these days. She's basically dropped out of blogdom and I don't keep in touch with her. Last I heard from her was last May, when I checked to see if those killer storms missed her (they did). Some mutual friends who keep in touch with her tell me she's doing fine. Aside from that, I neither know nor seek any further info about her. She wants her privacy now and that's fair of course.

But you could have at least kept on topic by saying "where the frack did she go?" ;-)

We've just started Season Three. Please, no spoilers... ;-)

How lucky for you to be able to encounter that season for the first time. For my money, the first six episodes or so of season 3 contained some of the most powerful and important moments in the entirety of TV history.

nat--i've seen that frackville sign!

mentok--surely you speak in hyperbole: "the first six episodes or so of season 3 contained some of the most powerful and important moments in the entirety of TV history." ?? it's fracking difficult to discern whether you're pulling our legs.

In my books, there's no hyperbole too extreme for BSG.

These episodes in particular centre around occupied New Caprica, with very stark analogies to Iraq.

This is a television show that succeeds in making North American audiences feel sympathy for a suicide bomber and view it as a legitimate military tactic. Any drama that can pull off a role-reversal on that scale deserves some hyperbole.

So, no, I'm not pulling your leg in the slightest.

Season three is where I started, and I had to backtrack. This show, along with Dexter, are the best dramas on TV! Flight Of The Conchords shall keep me laughing again very soon, too. YAY!
